Telangana Tourism has announced the launch of a helicopter ride for an aerial view of the City of Pearls, Hyderabad.

Presenting it as an exciting opportunity, this facility enables a tourist/visitor to explore Hyderabad by hopping onto a helicopter and viewing landmark tourist spots and other destinations in the Nizami city.

The 10-minute chopper ride is aimed at helping one view the beauty of Hyderabad from over 1,500 feet.

To facilitate a bird's eyeview of the historical twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad, the chopper takes off from Necklace Road and takes the visitor though various locations such as Tank Bund, Lumbini Park, NTR Garden, Birla Mandir, Charminar, Mecca Majid, High Court, Sanjeevaiah Park, and back to Necklace Road.

The Tourism Department is organising the Hyderabad Joy Ride during August 10-15, 2017 coinciding with the Independence Day Celebrations in league with Thumby Aviation.
