There's more to 'The Executive Centre' than eye-catching interiors

It has taken almost two and a half decades for the premium serviced office space, The Executive Centre, to set base in Hyderabad. They promise to make amends with their centre at the Salarpuria-Sattva Knowledge City soon, putting together their experience of handling over 100 centres (including their headquarters in Hong Kong) and adapting to various tastes of a wide client base. Clearly they have learnt about aspects that enhance an office atmosphere and it's not the packaging alone. While their interiors are classy, what also makes them stand apart is the significance they attach to hospitality. Nidhi Marwah, the Managing Director of The Executive Centre across South Asia and the Gulf, says, “What's the use of a great office when you don't have people greeting you with a genuine smile?”

That apart, The Executive Centre's neutral approach begins with its no-branding strategy. Regardless of a company having 100 workstations or even one, there's no tag attached to a workspace. The receptionists not only represent the centre but also fulfil pretty much any administerial requirement of a firm. It's an expansive welcome you get to their space that's built on a raised platform.

There are Herman Miller chairs (look out for their cool height adjustment), cabins with a sound acoustic setup, guarded by a sensor-specific entry system. There are various spaces across the 30000 square feet that could serve as meeting rooms (with a video conferencing facility), virtual offices and open spaces. The hues are subtle; various shades of blue dominate the space while a mix of white, brown and magenta are spread across the furniture. Like at their other centres, here too translucent glass is widely used, treating you to sights of the concrete and natural expanse of the Hitec City corridor. The hues change slightly in the cafeteria, its vibrancy ensures a welcome break from work. A play corner is expected to be added here.

Despite its uniformity with other centres, there's enough room in Hyderabad to go regional with use of hand-carved wood and Mughal artworks. Yet, The Executive Centre's strength is its service, its' Bengaluru and Hyderabad director Manish Khedia insists. “Provided our clients assure us they are here to stay, we can even create their own reception space, alter interior design and expand cabin spaces in tune with their needs. There is glitz in what we provide, but we assure we have depth too,” Nidhi and Manish add.

Besides a robust IT setup (that ensures confidentiality) and an all price inclusive system, what helps them is the keen interest from corporates as much as startups. “Our location, our services and the spaces help startups gain a lot of mileage,” Manish mentions. Workspace is where employees spend more time than home these days and The Executive Centre feels like a package deal that's here to enhance your work productivity.
