The Karnataka government hosted a breakfast meeting with industry heads, an initiative to drive greater industry participation for the twin events -- BengaluruITE.biz and Bengaluru India Bio 2017.

The Department of IT & BT hosted the meet attended by RV Deshpande, Minister for Large, Medium Industries & Infrastructure Development; Priyanka Kharge, Minister of State, IT & BT and Tourism; Gaurav Gupta, Principal Secretary IT/BT and Science & Technology.

The industry was represented by Kiran Mazumdar Shaw, Chairperson & MD, Biocon; Amitabh, Country Manager, Hewlett Packard; Kris Gopalakrishnan, Advisor to Government of Karnataka; NS Parthasarathy, Executive Vice Chairman & COO, Mindtree; among others.
