TTD offers Sesha Vastram to Brindavanam at Mantralayam

Several thousands of devotees witnessed the second day rituals of the 346th Aradhana of Sri Raghavendra Swamy Mutt in Mantralayam, Andhra Pradesh, on Wednesday. The celebrations, which began on Tuesday, would conclude on Thursday. However, the other rituals would go on till Saturday.

Priests, led by Sri Subhudendra Tirtha, offered Ksheerabhishekam and Panchamrutha Abhishekam to Mula Brindavanam of Sri Raghavendra Swamy, and also special pujas accompanied by stotras and bhajans.

Meanwhile, a team of priests, welcomed officers from the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) who had brought the Sesha Vastram of Lord Sri Venkateswara Swamy carrying on their head, and offered it to the Brindavanam. Later, the Navarathna chariot, on which an idol of Sri Raghavendra Swamy was kept, was pulled amid prayers by thousands of participants and devotees.

People from Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Kerala, Maharashtra, Delhi and other places witnessed the annual Aradhana celebrations. Leader of the Opposition in the Legislative Council K.S. Eshwarappa, Jaggesh, MLC, and film producer Rockline Venkatesh and other film artistes were among those who participated.

S. Giriyacharya, N. Vadirajacharya, Suyamindracharya and others were present.
