A 24-year-old biker was killed after a speeding KSRTC bus knocked him down on Dr. Rajkumar Road in Rajaji Nagar on Thursday. The deceased, Lokesh, a resident of Nandini Layout, was a private firm employee. He was on the way to work when the accident happened.
According to the police, the bus, heading towards Tumakuru from Majestic, in a bid to overtake the biker knocked him down.
Lokesh sustained severe head injuries and was rushed to a private hospital, where the doctors declared him brought dead. The Malleshwaram traffic police have detained the driver and seized the bus.
