Anil Kumble's Dues As Coach Cleared By BCCI

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has released details of payments made by it (over Rs 25 lakh) for the month of July 2017. Anil Kumble, who resigned as Team India coach in July, got his dues cleared by BCCI amounting close to Rs 1 crore.
Interestingly, Kumble had demanded that the chief coach get 60 percent of the captain's estimated earnings in a 19-page proposal to the BCCI that he had drafted last month.
Mithali Raj and co. received prize money of Rs 45 lakhs each for reaching the finals of the Women’s World Cup 2017. BCCI had announced the award for all the players and support staff after they reached the finals on the back of some strong performance against Australia.
Former Indian team players also received a one-time benefit of Rs 35 lakh from the board, who played between 1 to 9 Tests. The list included players like Robin Singh, Yograj Singh, TA Sekar and Sarandeep Singh.
Ishant Sharma and Stuart Binny received amounts of ICC and BCCI’s Test rankings prize money along with their share for tournament played outside India during 2015-2016. Ishant pocketed around Rs 1.03 crore while Binny received around Rs 89 lakh.
KL Rahul received Rs 28 lakh as BCCI Test ranking prize money, while Wriddhiman Saha and Varun Aaron received Rs 42.2 lakh and Rs 37.5 lakh respectively as long-standing amounts from the 2015-16 season for matches played outside the country.
Other notable payments included Rs 38 crore to the Karnataka Industrial Area Development Board, for acquiring land to construct a revamped National Cricket Academy in Devanahalli, Bangalore.
New Rising India, owners of the now-defunct Pune IPL franchise received Rs 21 crores as prize money for finishing as one of the finalists in IPL 2017. Meanwhile, Sun TV Network, owners of 2016 champions Sunrisers Hyderabad, was also paid Rs 16 crore as prize money for their side finishing in the top-4 in IPL 2017.
