Indian Scout Bobber bookings open, launch in September

Indian Motorcycle is all set to launch the Scout Bobber in September 2017. It was launched internationally recently and is the latest addition to the Indian Scout family.

Token amount of 50,000

Indian Motorcycle has begun taking bookings for the Indian Scout Bobber by paying a token amount of Rs. 50,000. The company will also be offering a range of accessories and customisation options as well.

A true 'bobber'

The Scout Bobber pays homage to the 'bobber' motorcycles and gets similar styling as well. Short fenders, moulded leather seat, knobby tyres and a stripped down, bare bones look makes it a 'bobber' in every sense.

A seat for the pillion as well

The bike also gets bold lettered badges, headlamp shroud, new engine covers and bar-end mirrors as well. The handlebar is flat and the seating geometry has changed as well. One could also get a custom seat for the pillion as well.

Customise your own Bobber

The Scout Bobber gets the same engine as the Indian Scout, which is a liquid-cooled, Thunder Stroke 111 V-Twin displacing 1,311 cc and making 100 bhp along with 97.7 Nm of peak torque.

The motorbike will be available in five colours - Thunder Black, Star Silver Smoke, Bronze Smoke, Indian Motorcycle Red and Thunder Black Smoke.
