TV game show "Match Game" has been renewed for a third season at ABC and the network has signed on actor Alec Baldwin as the host for two years in a first-look deal.
Under the new deal, the actor's El Dorado Pictures will develop scripted and unscripted projects under the ABC Studios banner, reported Variety.
"Alec's quick wit, charm and star power set the stage for an unadulterated and can't-miss hour of television each week on 'Match Game'.
"The series is an integral part of ABC 'Fun & Games,' and I'm glad to have it and Alec back," said Channing Dungey, president of ABC Entertainment.
Baldwin earned a 2017 Emmy nomination for outstanding host for a reality or reality competition programme.
The "SNL" actor has been the host of the game show since 2016.
