The BJP's youth wing will launch a 'Bharat Jodo Abhiyan' (Unite India Campaign) to mark the 75th anniversary of the Quit India Movement, as part of which its president Poonam Mahajan will present tricolour to its state presidents to organise 'tiranga yatras'.
According to a Bhartiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) statement, it will hold an event tomorrow evening in the national capital as part of the campaign.
The campaign is aimed at strengthening the belief of "One India, Great India" among the masses and sending out a "strong" message to "separatist and anti-national" forces, the statement said.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi had earlier asked the party to carry out a nationwide exercise between August 9 and August 15 to mark the Quit India Movement anniversary and launch a 'sankalp' (pledge) yatra between August 15 and August 30.
