Non-Congress government will be formed in Meghalaya: Kohli

national spokesperson Nalin Kohli on Tuesday exuded confidence that a non-will be formed in after the assembly elections next year.

"A non-is a certainty as of today as we assess the situation. Now the only question is who is going to be in that non-and how many seats those parties will secure," Kohli told journalists.

"I do not think that the party pitch anywhere shows that they are going to win the third term in Meghalaya," Kohli said.

Election to the 60-member is scheduled to be held in February-March 2018.

Accompanying his party national general secretary (organization) Ram Lal to assess the BJP's poll preparedness in the state, Kohli claimed that the ruling party in the state is on the verge of collapsing on its own due to "internal rumblings".

"They (legislators) do not want to be where they are since it (Congress) is a sinking boat. Many legislators are in touch with the BJP," he said.

He also cited that the sacking of two ministers - Prestone Tynsong and Sniawbhalang Dhar -- saying it speaks volumes of how shaky things are in the
