They face charges of kidnap, rape

A team of doctors at the Indira Gandhi Government Medical College Hospital and Postgraduate Institute at Kathirgamam on Monday conducted potency test on three autorickshaw drivers arrested on charge of kidnapping minor girls and forcing them into prostitution.

The CB-CID police have already arrested Mohammed Ali, Mohammed Kani and Mustafa, all hailing from Kottakuppam in Villupuram district in connection with the case.

The team rescued four minor girls in April and admitted them to a shelter home.

On a petition from the CB-CID police, a local court permitted potency test on the accused.

The three were taken to the Government Medical College and Hospital amid tight police security.

They were later taken to the Central Prison at Kalapet.

The CB-CID police have launched a search for a few others for their alleged involvement in the crime.
