Terming the upcoming Science City as one of the priorities of the State government, Chief Secretary Dinesh Kumar has directed the district administration officials to hand over the allotted land to the project officials by August-end.
Reviewing the project works with the officials concerned at Sri Padmavati Guest House, here on Saturday, Mr. Kumar said that the Detailed Project Report (DPR) should be prepared by the end of September. About 100 acres of land has been identified for the project and the officials were also told to sort out any issues linked to handing over of the land at the earliest. Later, Consultants Space Ace gave a presentation about the upcoming project. Principal Secretary (CRDA and Energy) Ajay Jain, Chittoor District Collector A.S. Pradyumna, TTD EO Anil Kumar Singhal, Additional PCCF B.K. Singh, SVU Vice-Chancellor Prof. A. Damodaram, Joint Collector Girisha, Science City CEO and Vice Chairman Krishna Rao and others officials took part.
