JAMMU: As many as 726 pilgrims today left from here to perform Buddha Amarnath pilgrimage in Poonch district.
An official said that 505 males, 212 females and nine children left for Poonch to pay obeisance at Buddha Amarnath.
They left in a convoy of 27 vehicles comprising 14 buses and 13 light motor vehicles.
Security personnel escorted the convoy of yatra to their destinations. (AGENCIES)
