Actual relief work instead of photo-op would have been better: Gujarat CM to Rahul

Hitting out at vice president for visiting flood hit areas in the state, Chief Minister on Friday said it would have been better if the former along with his party would have devoted enough time to provide adequate relief work in flood affected areas.

"The perpetual tourist, Shri @OfficeOfRG came to but the people of are asking- where are our INC MLAs in this crucial time? Instead of another photo-op, it would have been better had @OfficeOfRG & @INCIndia devoted time to proper relief work in flooded areas," Rupani tweeted.

He added that people of know the tricks of the rather too well, adding their anti-people and anti-mindset is not a secret.

"Rahul Gandhi's leadership style is working wonders in his party. Following him, MLAs are also in vacation mode!," Rupani tweeted.

Earlier in the day, the (BJP) hit back at after his car was attacked by unknown persons in Gujarat's Banaskanta during his visit to flood affected areas, by accusing him of politicising the flood situation in the state.

"Calamities like floods should be kept far away from ambit and reach of politics. In current political scenarios some political parties, party in particular is even politicising the calamity like floods," said BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra.

He also said that the attack on his convoy is an expression of the people's anger, who are dealing with floods and tired of such politics and they should not be called goons.

Earlier today, branding the attack on as "disgusting and disgraceful, accused the ruling BJP saying the latter must know the truth can't be silenced.
