Prime Minister Modi today told a group of parliamentarians that they have to change their style of functioning to understand the changing face of Indian politics.

Modi the MPs from eight states at his residence and explained them the benefits of various schemes such as Mudra, crop and soil health card.


The prime minister also told the MPs that they have to change their working style to understand the changing face of Indian politics, an official statement quoted Modi as saying.

The MPs from Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Manipur, and were present in the meeting.

The recent attacks on and workers in the southern states were raised by the MPs at the meeting.

The parliamentarians from the ruling party also expressed concerns about cryptocurrency, Bitcoin, and said there was a need for policy guidelines on it, the statement added.

The MPs also gave their suggestions on various welfares schemes such as Ujjawala and skill development.

The MPs from the northeastern states expressed their gratitude towards Modi for the speedy relief work during floods in the region.

It was Modi's ninth and the last meeting with MPs at his residence during the ongoing monsoon session of Parliament. These meetings were coordinated by parliamentary affairs minister Ananth Kumar.
