Twelve booth level officers (BLOs) have been suspended for alleged dereliction of duty after they failed to attend a special camp organised by the district administration, a senior official said today.
According to sub divisional magistrate (SDM), Sadar, Prem Singh Ranjan a special camp for re-inspection of voter list was organised on Sunday and all BLOs were informed about it in advance.
But these 12 BLOs remained absent from their duty without giving any prior intimation to the district election office, he said, adding for this they have been suspended.
