India leads the three match Test series 1-0 by thrashing Sri Lanka in the first Test by 304 runs.

India captain Virat Kohli won the toss and elected to bat first in the second cricket Test against Sri Lanka, here today.

India have made one change to their playing eleven, brining in fit-again KL Rahul in place of Abhinav Mukund.

Sri Lanka have made three changes with Dinesh Chandimal returning to lead the side.

Besides for the hosts, Malinda Pushpakumara will make his debut while Dhananjaya de Silva has also been included in the playing eleven.

With India leading the three match Test series 1-0  by thrashing Sri Lanka in the first Test at Galle by 304 runs, it gains upperhand in the second Test at the Sinhalese Sports Club on Thursday.

With KL Rahul returning to the squad, Team India will be strengthening its batting line-up. Shikhar Dhawan, Cheteshwar Pujara and Virat Kohli have all scored centuries against Sri Lanka in the first Test, the batting line-up of India looks menacing.
