Motorola, which has so far focused on selling mobile phones online, is now looking to expand its physical footprint by setting up offline retail stores. The company opened six ‘Moto Hubs’ on Thursday and plans to take the number to 50 by the end of March 2018.
The Moto Hub will allow users to experience and purchase the full portfolio of Motorola products, including phones and accessories, under one roof, said Sudhin Mathur, managing director, Motorola Mobility India. The new stores will come up in “the top-tier towns at locations with significant traffic,” he added.
