Bangalore University has issued a show-cause notice to the principal of the University College of Physical Education for allowing an aqua Zumba party in the premises. The event was conducted last Tuesday and images of the party were circulated on social networking platforms.
B.K. Ravi, Registrar (Administration) of Bangalore University, said that an explanation has been sought on how the event was allowed. “We were given the impression that it was an event that would have basic swimming exercises. We would have not have given permission if we knew that it was a party,” an official said.
