Karnataka Energy Minister D.K. Shivakumar on Tuesday attended the first meeting of the advisory group on renewable energy integration in States organised by NITI Aayog, in New Delhi.
Aravind Panagaria, vice-chairman of NITI Aayog, and Union Energy Minister Piyush Goel addressed Ministers of 10 States, said an official note.
The meeting saw presentation and discussion on State action plans in regards to renewable energy integration. Energy Ministers of Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Punjab, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu and Telangana also participated in the meeting.
