A man, who had allegedly duped wholesale traders of Jalandhar Sabzi Mandi of Rs 60 lakh, was today arrested here and Rs 1.17 lakh recovered from his possession.
Raj Kumar was on the run for the last two months and was finally nabbed by a team of Punjab police in cooperation with local police, Tehri SSP Vimla Gunjyal said.
Kumar was living with his family at a rented accommodation here for the past two months.
Rs 1.17 lakh in cash have also been recovered from the room where he was staying, she said, adding that the accused has been taken to Punjab.
