Flaying Nagari YSRCP legislator R.K. Roja for her comments against Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, Tirupati MLA M. Suguna said on Sunday that it was improper to make baseless allegations despite all the efforts of Mr. Naidu to develop the State.
Addressing the media here, Ms. Suguna said Mr. Naidu had been making relentless efforts for the development of the State, with emphasis on welfare of the people, particularly the backward sections.
“The schemes being implemented both by the State and Centre, have received acclaim from all sections of society. People have been benefited by schemes such as farm loan waiver, pension, and health care initiatives. Despite this, Ms. Roja referred to Mr. Naidu as ‘Hitler’ and has been spreading false information,” she said. Ms. Suguna said there was nothing wrong in seeking to extract the best from government employees. She demanded that Ms. Roja withdraw her remarks and tender an apology.
