A Jet Airways Mumbai-Jodhpur flight with 167 people aboard landed safely in Jodhpur in Rajasthan after it was hit by a bird while coming to land, an airline statement said.
"As a precautionary measure, the Captain decided to abort the landing and carry out a go around. The aircraft later landed safely without any incident," said the statement.
The Boeing 737-800 aircraft was being inspected by the airline's engineers.
