The train has an extended route to Udiapur.
Prabhu congratulated the people of Mewar for having a direct facility from Udaipur to Haridwar.
He was accompanied by Ministers of State for Railways Manoj Sinha and Rajen Gohain in Delhi.
In Udaipur, Rajasthan Home Minister Gulab Chand Kataria, Udaipur MP Arjunlal Meena, Rajsamand MP Hariom Singh Rathore, and Chittorgarh MP C P Joshi and others were at the flagging-off ceremony.
