JAMMU, July 27: Bishnah police seized illicit liquor from village Bulande Kothe.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Bishnah police station conducted raid in village Bulande Kothe and seized 5 litres pouches of illicit liquor.
The lady identified as Poli Devi, wife of Baldev Raj of Bulande Kothe, who was selling illicit liquor managed to escape from the spot.
A case under FIR Number 158/17 under Section 48-A Excise Act has been registered at police station Bishnah and hunt has been launched to arrest the lady.
Police team led by SHO Bishnah Inspector PP Singh seized the illicit liquor under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Surinder Choudhary and SP Headquarters Jammu RC Kotwal.
