Blue Dart Express Q1 net profit plunges 52% at Rs 21 cr

Logistics company today posted a fall of 52 per cent in standalone net profit at Rs 21.09 crore for the first quarter ended June 30, 2017.

The company had posted a standalone net profit of Rs 44.08 crore in the year-ago period, said in a filing.


The company's total expenses during April-June quarter rose to Rs 639.99 crore as against Rs 562.91 crore in the year-ago period.

Its total income, however, increased to Rs 672.33 crore from Rs 629.68 crore in the corresponding quarter of the preceding fiscal.
