Delhi University released its seventh cut-off list for admission to merit-based undergraduate programmes on Wednesday.
Most colleges have closed admissions and only a handful of vacancies still remain.
Popular courses
There has not been a significant fall in cut-offs from the sixth list, as colleges only have a few vacancies. Many of these vacancies are due to students cancelling admission in one college and moving to another.
At Hindu College, popular courses like BA(H) in economics, Hindi and history are still open, with cut-offs set at 97.25%, 90% and 96.25% respectively.
BA(H) Economics is also open at IP College at 96%, Kalindi College at 89%, Maitreyi College at 94%, Rajdhani College at 91.25%, Ramjas College at 96%, Sri Venkateswara College at 96.25%, Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma College at 94.25% and Motilal Nehru College at 93%. Courses that received a lot of applications, like BA(H) English and BA Programme, are also open in several popular colleges. Admissions under the seventh cut-off list will take place on Thursday and Friday.
NCWEB cut-off list
DU also released the sixth cut-off list for the Non-Collegiate Women’s Education Board (NCWEB), a non-formal system of obtaining degree from the university with lectures being delivered only on weekends.
Admissions will take place on Thursday and Friday between 9.30 a.m. and 1.30 p.m. at its respective teaching centres.
