Delhi government order violative of constitutional provisions: BJP

A day after the issued orders to all officers to report all matters to ministers concerned, the on Tuesday said it was a "sick plea and violative of constitutional provisions".

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) President Manoj Tiwari condemned the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government's orders and said: "Right from the day he came to power, (Chief Minister) Arvind Kejriwal has been trying to browbeat officials to push through his unconstitutional decisions on the pretext of a public mandate."

He said it was shameful that the AAP was again trying to create controversy over the administrative work of officials despite the fact that both the High Court and the central have sternly told it to work within constitutional provisions wherein the Lt. Governor is the administrative authority in most matters.
