Dejected over not getting promotion, a 35-year-old coffee shop employee committed suicide by hanging himself at his residence in Mahadevapura on Sunday.
The deceased, Pramod, was working in a coffee shop in Pheonix Mall for over 11 years.
Pramod was depressed that he was not getting his due promotion. On Sunday, he had discussed the issue with his family and friends. He was later found hanging and police recovered a suicide note.
The Mahadevapura police have taken up a case of unnatural death and are investigating.
