The Maharashtra State Lawn Tennis Association (MSLTA) will host a WTA 125K series event at the Cricket Club of India from November 20 to 26. The players prize money for the 125K series is $ 115,000.
“The MSLTA applied for this tournament and the WTA confirmed it by putting it on its website today (Tuesday). This is one of the year-end WTA tournaments, no other WTA event is held during that week. We can target two top 50 players. The winner gets 160 WTA points and the runner up 95,” said Sundar Iyer, AITA EC Member and Hon. Secretary of the MSLTA.
