Gionee A1 Plus With 4550mAh Battery Launched In India: Price, Features, And Specifications

Chinese smartphone manufacturer Gionee on Tuesday (25 July) launched its new smartphone A1 Plus in India. Priced at Rs. 26,999, the smartphone will go on sale from 26 July through offline channels in mocha gold and black colour. A1 Plus is the bigger sibling of Gionee A1 which was launched a few months back in India at Rs. 19,999.

Gionee A1 Plus runs on company’s Amigo 4 OS based on Android 7.0 Nougat and powered by MediaTek Helio P25 Octa-core processor coupled with 4GB RAM. It has 64GB internal storage which is expandable up to 256GB through a hybrid dual-SIM configuration where second SIM slot doubles as MicroSD card holder.

Gionee A1 Plus features a 6-inch full-HD (1920x1080) IPS LCD display. It sports a 13-megapixels+5-megapixels dual camera on the rear with f/2.0 aperture and LED flash. On the front is a 20-megapixels selfie-camera with f/2.0 aperture, and selfie flash.

Gionee A1 Plus is backed by a 4550mAh non-removable battery which comes with company’s ultra-fast technology that charges the handset in 2 hours. The handset has a front mounted fingerprint sensor which unlocks it in 0.2 seconds.

The handset measures 166.4x83.3x9.1mm and weigh 226 grams. Connectivity options are – Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.0, 3.5mm audio-jack, micro USB, and A-GPS.

Gionee A1 Plus will face competition with the likes of Samsung Galaxy C7 Pro, Honor 8 Pro, and OnePlus 3T among others.
