Idea Cellular rallies 7% on CCI approval to Vodafone merger

Shares of Idea Cellular jumped over 7 per cent in trade after CCI approved the proposed merger with Vodafone India. Brokerages too have given a thumbs up as the approval is seen as a key step in creating India’s biggest phone company by subscribers.
