Refined soya prices moved down by 0.69 per cent to Rs 644 per 10 kg in futures market today as speculators reduced exposure amid subdued demand in the spot market.

At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, refined soya for delivery in September declined by Rs 4.45, or 0.69 per cent, to Rs 644 per 10 kg with an open interest of 18,670 lots.

On similar lines, the for delivery in August traded lower by Rs 4.05, or 0.63 per cent, to Rs 638.20 per 10 kg in 59,150 lots.
