Two persons, including a woman, were murdered in separate incidents in less than 24 hours in north-west Delhi.

The 21-year-old used to run a food stall in the area.

Case registered

“On Saturday, one Lucky stabbed Bijender and fled the spot. Locals informed the victim’s brother Vijay, who rushed him to Babu Jagjivan Ram Hospital. Later, Bijender was taken to another hospital, where he succumbed to injuries on Saturday night,” said a police officer. A murder case has been registered at the Jahangirpuri police station.

According to the police, the crime is suspected to be the fallout of an old rivalry. Preliminary probe has revealed that Bijender had allegedly attacked Lucky, a parking attendant in the area, two years ago.
