The Confederation of Indian Industry, Puducherry chapter organised an interactive session for members, in association with the GST and Central Excise Commissionerate and Commercial Taxes Department recently.
U. Niranjan, Commissioner, GST & Central Excise Commissionerate, Puducherry and K. Sridhar, Deputy Commissioner, Commercial Taxes, Government of Puducherry spoke on various issues.
The objective of the session was to discuss and clarify on the issues faced/raised post implementation of GST and understand on the procedural requirements and learn to be a perfect part of the business houses. Over 100 participants from various industries attended the session.
Shrikanth R.D, Chairman, CII Puducherry, in his address, thanked the State Government and GST and Central Excise Commissionerate, Commercial Taxes Department, Government of Puducherry and their technical team for their extended support for the smoother implementation of GST by holding series of training sessions, dedicated call centre and help desk at various industrial centres.
