Several place in Rajasthan experience showers

State capital recorded 43.1 mm rainfall today while several other places in also experienced showers during the last 24 hours, department officials said.

In east Rajasthan, Salumber recorded 17 cm rainfall followed by 14 cm in Mount Abu, 13 cm in Gangrar, 11 cm in Devel, Sirohi and Dungarpur, 10 cm in Chhoti Sadri, Raipur, 9 cm in Dungla, Abu Road, Jhahzpur, Kumbhalgarh.


In west Rajasthan, Jalore recorded 15 cm followed by 13 cm in Sumerpur, Eranpura, 12 cm in Desuri, Ahore, 11 cm in Bali, 9 cm in Raniwada, Siwana, 8 cm in Bhinmal, Sayla, they said.

Many other places in the state also received rainfall.

The department has predicted that heavy rainfall was very likely to occur at a few places and extremely heavy rainfall likely to occur at isolated places in the state during next 24 hours, according to officials.
