Second round of medical allotment

Admissions to all MBBS/BDS seats, including the minority quota and NRI seats, will be done by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE) from the State rank list prepared on the basis of the NEET(UG) examination 2017.

Self-financing medical and dental colleges will be included in the second phase of counselling to be held from August 8 to 19.

Candidates seeking admission to the NRI quota in self-financing medical and dental colleges will have to send the self-attested copies of the following documents to the CEE as proof of claim under the NRI quota.

Documents needed

The documents include relation certificate of the sponsor and the student to be issued by revenue authorities; overseas employment certificate issued by the employer and attested by the embassy and if self-employed attested by the embassy; passport with visa stamped on it and attested by the embassy; a self-affidavit of the relationship between the sponsor and the candidate (sponsorship certificate); and the relevant document to show that the sponsor is an Indian citizen/ overseas citizen of India/ person of Indian origin.

The filled proforma for admission to the NRI quota and the self-attested copies of the above-mentioned documents should be sent to the office of the CEE so as to reach there before July 31.

The category-wise list of NRI quota applicants shall be published from among those who submit the relevant documents within the specified time.
