Boy killed in leopard attack

A two-year-old boy, who had come to visit Goregaon Film City here, was killed after being attacked by a leopard, police said today.

The incident occurred last evening at Moracha Pada, near the helipad in Aarey colony, a senior police official said.


Vihaan Naik, a relative of Nitin Mali, who works as a security guard at the Sanjay Gandhi National Park, had came to visit Film City with his kin, he said.

The leopard pounced on Naik after which he suffered injuries to his neck. He was rushed to a hospital in Jogeshwari, where he was declared dead, the officer added.
