Delhi court directs police to register FIR against Star India on charges of cheating

Delhi's Patiala House on Saturday directed the Economic Offence Wing (EOW) of the Police to register an FIR against Star Pvt. Ltd. (SIPL) and some of its top officials with others on a cheating complaint filed by Delhi-based Software Technology Park Ltd (NSTPL).

The Patiala House Court's Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (CMM) took note of the complaint and its officials involved including CEO Uday Shankar, Managing Director Gupta and others with regard to a broadcasting contract between NSTPL and SIPL.
