Dashapushpam to be held in 10 schools in district

The government is aiming at improving the school environment to enable students to excel, Minister for Tourism Kadakampally Surendran has said.

He was inaugurating Dashapushpam, a training programme launched by Jawahar Balbhavan to promote children’s abilities and creative skills, at Central High School, Attakulangara, here on Thursday.

He said the government was committed to elevating school standards, ensuring quality education, and identifying children’s talents to promote their skills. Across the State, 45,000 classrooms would become smart.

Renovated building

The Minister also inaugurated the renovated building of the Attakulangara school. This is the first in the series of programmes to be held in 10 schools in the district by Balbhavan.

Balbhavan chairperson K. Muraleedharan, MLA, presided over the function. Its Principal S. Malini, architect G. Shankar, Balbhavan governing body member E.M. Radha, and Central High School Principal Kala K.G. were present.
