Felicity Jones to play Ruth Bader Ginsburg in biopic

Actress Felicity Jones has been roped in to star in the role of Supreme Justice of Ruth Bader Ginsburg in biopic "On the Basis of Sex".

Daniel Stiepleman wrote the script, reported Entertainment Weekly.

Jones replaces Natalie Portman, who had been attached to play Ginsburg since 2015.

Ginsburg was appointed to the Supreme in 1993 by President and became the second female justice after Sandra Day O' Connor.

Ginsburg is 84 and remains an associate justice who is part of the court's liberal wing. She is one of the three female justices on the current along with Sonia Sotomayor and Elena Kagan.
