Amit Shah to visit Hyderabad on Sept.11, 12

The Bharatiya Janata Party will hold its two-day State executive meeting here at Nandana Gardens in Hanamkonda on July 22 and 23.

Former MLAs T. Rajeswara Rao and M. Dharma Rao said that the party was fast expanding all over the country and in Telangana in particular. The Congress is pushed to third place and the BJP had became the only alternative to ruling TRS party in the State now.

Of the 32,000 polling stations in Telangana, the party reached out to 25,000 polling stations organizing meetings, activating cadre and strengthening the booth-level committees.

The State executive would deliberate on how to go about in 2019 Assembly elections. It would discuss about the agenda, problems facing the people, party organiaation strengths and weaknesses among others.

It would be attended by 500 delegates from all districts besides special guests from national and State party. National president Amit Shah would tour Hyderabad on September 11 and 12 to take stock of the situation in Telangana.

“Our primary objective is to win the 2019 elections in Telangana and we will leave no stone unturned. The BJP was vibrant once in this part of the State. We will bring back its glory,” Mr. Dharma Rao said.

The party leaders accused the State Government of failing to tackle the drug menace until the media exposed it. The State Government has no clue what was happening in the small State but ruling party leaders make tall claims.

On Godavari waters, they said Chief Minister K.Chandrasekhar Rao, Deputy Chief Minister Kadiam Srihari and Irrigation Minister T. Harish Rao were hoodwinking the people and farmers of Warangal district by stating that they would give water from Medigadda project. In fact, it was aimed at diverting the waters to Nizamabad and Siddipet districts.

“We wanted the State Government to take up Kanthanapalli project that will ensure water to people of Warangal, but in vain,” they said.
