To keep a check on the rising number of paying guest accommodations, and keeping in mind the security of students availing private accommodation, Delhi University recently released a statement asking students to check if the accommodation they move into is verified by the Delhi Police.
Regular monitoring
The statement read, “Students desirous of paying guest accommodation must ensure that their PG is duly verified by the local police since all such PGs are regularly monitored by the area police for proper safety and security of student residents.”
