Macquarie Bank today sold 11.25 lakh shares of Aditya Birla Group firm Grasim Industries for over Rs 146 crore through open market transaction.
According to the block deal data available with BSE, Macquarie Bank offloaded 11.25 lakh shares, or 0.24 per cent stake, in the Aditya Birla Group firm.
As per the data, the shares were sold at an average price of Rs 1,303 apiece, valuing the transaction at Rs 146.58 crore.
The shares were purchased by India Opportunities Growth Fund Ltd - Pinewood Strategy.
Grasim Industries' shares dipped 0.08 per cent to settle the day at Rs 1305.85 on BSE.
Grasim Industries, which is part of Aditya Birla Group, has businesses spread across industries like textile, cement and chemical, among others.
