Jaguar's new compact SUV E-Pace chose to go for an off-beat launch as it took to the ramps and pulled off an exemplary start, with a record-breaking 15.3m jump packed with a 270-degree bond-style barrel rotation, securing a place in the Guiness book of world records in the process in its London premier last week.

Rivals to take note

To be created on the same platform as the Range Rover Evoque, this smaller sibling of Jaguar F-pace will be giving head on competition to the likes of the BMW and Audi. E-pace would contain the same equipment as the Land Rover Discovery, but the new offer, compared to its rivals, boasts of bringing far more elbowroom and class onboard.

Unmatchable strength

In Engine power, there could be either 240 or 300bhp petrol with FWD or AWD or a 2.0 litre diesel with 150, 180 or 240 bhp. The interior cabin space of E-Pace provides a Q5-like space bulk with a boot capable of hosting 577 litres of luggage.

'Big-break' arriving soon

The Tata-owned brand is enhancing the model's features to woo audiences when the impressive E-Pace is launched here later in the year. The world launch is all set to take place tommorow in London. Inside sources of the luxury brand says the starting price may vary somewhere around €35,000.
