The regional centre of the Indira Gandhi National Open University (Ignou) has invited applications for masters, degree, PG diploma, diploma programmes and certificate programmes. Last date for submitting applications for admissions into PG degree,d diploma programmes is July 31, while the last date for certificate and BPP programmes is July 15. Except a few programmes, candidates can apply through online mode. For online admissions, log on to onlineadmision.igoun.ac.in /admission.
In collaboration with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, a dual degree programme was launched by Ignou.
Candidates pursuing chartered accountancy at foundation or Intermediate of first levels are eligible for admission into B.Com (Accountancy and Finance). The details of the dual course are available at Ignou Regional Centre, Ushodaya junction, MVP Colony.

Fee exemption
In line with the educational opportunities for socially disadvantaged sections, IGNOU is offering a fee exemption for transgender candidates. Transgender students can apply for degree or PG or diploma or certificate programmes along with the certificate issued by the Central/State Government, medical officer, or any competent authority by producing a copy of an Aadhar card while seeking admission into any programme offered by the university.
