Zimbabwe have turned things around somewhat in the final session of play in Colombo. At lunch they looked out of it with a strong Sri Lanka start, having dismissed Zimbabwe for 356, but they came back with key wickets in the final session. Helped by some superb fielding by the visitors, Zimbabwe have taken seven wickets in 216 runs to have Sri Lanka at 293/7 at stumps and trailing by 63 runs. Upul Tharanga (71), Dinesh Chandimal (55), Angelo Mathews (41), Dilruwan Perera (33) all contributed with the bat. For Zimbabwe, Graeme Creme picked up 3/100. The way things stand in Colombo, it is either team’s game. Asela Gunaratne will be a must-take wicket for Zimbabwe early on Day 3.
