Froth, untreated sewage inflow, encroachments and dumping of garbage were found to be problems that go beyond Bellandur and Varthur lakes by citizen activists under the ‘Naagarika’ banner, who undertook the seventh leg of their visits to lakes on Saturday.

They noticed froth in Kaggadasapura lake in C.V. Raman Nagar ward. The lake is spread over 47 acres, of which three acres 24 guntas have been encroached, a release said.
