Police take him to three places in city where he allegedly met ‘Pulsar’ Suni

A police team, investigating the case related to abduction and harassment of a female actor, brought actor Dileep to Thrissur on Thursday for collecting evidence in the case.

He was taken to Joys Palace Hotel, The Garuda Hotel, and the Kinattingal Tennis and Sports Academy in the city.

According to the police, Dileep allegedly had discussions with ‘Pulsar’ Suni, the first accused, at these places during the shooting of the movie Georgettan’s Pooram.

A huge crowd hooted and raised slogans against the actor at these places. Workers of the All India Youth Federation waved black flags at the actor.

Dileep was first taken to Joys Palace Hotel. According to the police, Dileep had discussions with Suni in the actor’s car at the parking lot of the hotel. Suni, who came on a motorbike, had reportedly recorded his name and phone number in the visitor’s register at the gate of the hotel.

As it was raining, the police team completed procedures in the vehicle at the parking ground itself.

Then the actor was taken to The Garuda Hotel, where he reportedly stayed for 20 days during the shooting of the film.

Later, he was taken to the Kinattingal Tennis and Sports Academy, Punkunnam, where the shooting of Georgettan’s Pooram was held in Thrissur.

The police had recovered selfies taken by employees of the academy with Dileep, in which Suni too was accidentally captured. According to the investigation team, Dileep and Suni were under the same mobile tower location for almost three hours on November 13, 2016.

The employees of the academy had reportedly given statements that they saw Dileep in conversation with Suni.

The police collected statements from the actor at the academy in the presence of the employees.
