Former MLA and YSR Congress Party leader Rowthu Suryaprakasa Rao has challenged Minister for Information Technology and Panchayat Raj Nara Lokesh to tour interior tribal villages like Chaparai on par with their party leader Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy.
Addressing press conference here on Wednesday, he said that after YSRC plenary, TDP leaders started mudslinging at his party and Mr. Lokesh also often commenting on Mr. Jagan. “Lokesh is still spoon-fed by his father (Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu) and he never toured interior villages and know the problems of Agency areas. But, Mr. Jagan took all the pain and toured Chaparai and interacted with tribal persons after which the State government acted shiftily to solve their problems,” he added.
Mr. Suryaprakasa Rao said that State government had made 600 promises, mostly welfare measures in the last three years, and none of them were implemented. He also pointed out the government had withdrawn important schemes introduced by former CM Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy.
